Sixity’s KYMCO brake pads are available in three materials for most models. The best material for your vehicle depends on terrain, riding style, and vehicle loads:

• Organic, Semi-Metallic, Kevlar: The Sixity Q6-Series pads are engineered for everyday casual street cruising and light touring. They provide a smooth and quiet performance, and ensure a progressive lever response under normal operational temperatures. 
• Ceramic Composite: Sixity’s C6-Series brake pads are best for stop-and-go urban commuting and hilly environments. Vibration-damping compounds eliminate brake grind and pad squeal, making ceramic an appealing choice for touring.
• Sintered Bronze, Full Metallic: The N6-Series pads are Sixity’s most durable pads for KYMCO brakes. Engineered for aggressive trail riding, heavy utility cargo hauling, and competitive sports racing, these pads use a porous, sintered metallic matrix to allow water, mud, and sand to disperse rapidly without causing brake fade or friction loss. Their resistance to structural softening and high-temperature decomposition allows them to outlast organic and ceramic pads under extreme stress.

For KYMCO ATVs and UTVs, it’s typically better to use ceramic or sintered pads. These vehicles are built for adventures and work, so you’ll likely want more durable and heat-tolerant brake pads. For heavier work or rougher terrain, sintered pads provide the most reliability and greater bite.

Yes. Sixity brake pads are designed and engineered to fit multiple KYMCO models, including the MXU and UXV series. Each set of pads comes with a fitment guarantee that applies to all models verified on the package and our product listings. 

KYMCO doesn’t provide a strict timeframe or have a mileage replacement requirement. Instead, you should replace ATV and UTV brake pads about every 50 to 100 hours of use. Inspect your pads every 25 hours and examine the friction wear. When the material is 1 mm thick or less, replace the pads.
